You need to see the Top Gear episode they did on this car. They had it beat a Murcielago on a road course, but kinda slammed it for being completely impractical (no boost in low RPM, horrible turning radius, maybe gas mileage too?). It's cool and impressive that they can do that with only 2L of displacement but it just doesn't quite do it for me.

I saw that, pretty cool show! I liked how they tested the toyota pick up's durability
Yeah man its an awsome car. I would definitely wouldnt mind purchasing that car. I always loved the EVO. Those numbers are also pretty similar to the Corvette Z06 numbers.

They slammed it for impracticality and gas mileage against a Murcielago?
yea, in a later episode they mentioned it (i have ~3 seasons worth of TG and some fifth gear eps) that the EVO FQ400 managed their all time WORST fuel economy....~3.4MPG on the track. Also, it was impractical because you have to take it in for service every 4500 miles or so.

What's up with the maintenance on that thing?
Well considering it's a 2L 4 cylinder it has horrid mileage (see above), and is hardly useful for anything other than hard-lined track use. The maintenance thing has been said already so yeah...
