Not much I can add to what has already been said about the two cars. The GS will be slightly more responsive and agile.....the LS will really relax you at the end of a hard day.
if you decide to spring for a 2005 LS, though.....( or any 2005 ) try and find one that has not been sitting on the lot too long. Look inside the driver's door jamb for a date-of-manufacture plate. Cars that have sat on the dealer's lot for several months without being driven often have dead batteries, flat-spotted tires, rust on the brake rotors and other exposed bare-metal parts (especially in a humid climate), sun-baked upholstery, interior, and paint, corrosive bird droppings, acid rain, scratches, etc..., and some corrosion inside the engine and transmission from not having the fluids getting hot and circulated. You usually are better off with a car pretty fresh out of the factory. (That 's one reason why I myself bought a 2006 instead of an end-of-year 2005).
