I am curious....when you turn it on...and there are no alerts...what should the radar look like...I mean what should be lit up?
I turned my car on the other day and the screen looks different...as if maybe a LED burnt out....but I don't know for sure, I never paid much attention to what it looked like then. By the way, this is for the newer version out (in last 2 years or so).

 

A, L, or "half" L

Yep, it is fine. I had the half L and thought it was supposed to be big..I must have pressed the button, thanks.

 

yah hold the mute button a little longer and run it in the big "L" full logic

 

though i usually just run it in A, i rather it giving me some false alarm

but of course, i only use it on freeway when i travel certain distance. with that thing in the city i can go crazy

 

only thing i remember about my V1 is " P O P "

 

I lost my instruction book...what is the diffference between the 3 modes?
