Lexus is very "in" with popular culture (contrary to haters belief) and the cars have been getting modified for some time now and clearly looking here, well, you know

For those in the tuner scene, Lexus says tons like BMW or Benz. Besides V-8 power, Lexus has the legendary 2JZ engine on its side. What a combo.

For those that listen to hip-hop, for those that pay attention to hollywood and to those car modifying culture, Lexus has always been a hit. You can see the cars used in movied, television shows, on MTV cribs, in music videos, being driven by the Rich and Famous.

Well the Lexus GS 430 continues the trend, being used in Midnight Club Dub edition.




Next is the Lexus IS 300, extermely popular with tuners, the vast array of modified IS 300s is amazing, especially all the forced induction cars.

There are only a few cars included in this game and some of the most popular were chosen (Escalade, 300C, 350Z are a few).

There are some ignorant people that contend Lexus is "chasing Benz" and they are not sporty cars and blah blah blah...

I am not taking anything away from Benz at all! Clearly they are hip as well. My commet was soley, when people with no clue say "Lexus is a fake Benz"

For some reason I'm not all that impressed with the graphics... maybe it's because i've been playing NFS U2 too much

NFS U2 in on my radar for sure. Just waiting for the price to drop some more....

NFSU2 is amazing. I have a completely modded out to the max Gold IS300, and fully modded RX-8. Also have a sleeper Supra with no body work besides a pearlescent paint coat, but its not completely modded like the other 2. I'll try and capture some screenshots if I can. Lately my computer likes to crash when I try to run it.



Oh I also have an Escalade with Lambo doors sitting lowered on 24's.

"I put Lamborghini doors on that Esc-o-lade, low pros so low looks like I'm ridin on blades." (50 cent lyric and video, hence the inspiration).

This game is great!

Although their systems are questionable. The SC430 is faster than the GS430 in this game, despite being heavier in real life and having almost the same engine. They devide up cars in classes in terms of their speed. The SC430, along with cars like the SL500 and Phaeton are C class cars while the GS and cars like 300c are in the lowest class, which is D.

for some reason the graphics look like crap in the first pic but the graphics look much better on XBOX or PS2 cause i have it for XBOX and its sick i love it..i have all 3 lexus's and a SL55 AMG..
