Take a look at this post where I needed some, there were a couple of good sources

I googled "universal grill mesh honeycomb" and got some results such as this: http://www.parts4vws.com/catalog/pro...rtNumber=41110 It's a 39 x 14 inch sheet of honeycomb mesh for $65.

Two more

I ended up getting some mesh at a place (off top of my head) called McNichols who sells metal sheeting, and other metal products. They've got a warehouse in Charlotte and I was able to just pick it up.

This is the mesh I got from them and had my bodyshop cut it to fit.

You can see a bit more of it here (powdercoated black chrome)

Thanks - I don't have it all broken down as I had other stuff done at the same time... just guessing though"

full big sheet of mesh ~$120 (I had more to use it on than just the grill)
powdercoating $50 - 100
Cutting and fitting $25

The second two parts were 'just for the grill' estimates. The sheet of mesh depends on whether they have it in stock in smaller sheets or not vs have to custom cut something for you.

Just FYI,
I just called Rod Millen and they sell the mesh for their grill and bumper for $25. It is a 9" x 36" sheet I thought it was a little pricey for the size but it comes powder coated black. Most places will charge at least $25-50 to powder coat that size. With the powder coating it not a bad price.

the stock mesh on rmm grills seems kinda cheesy.

the mesh on L-tune grills looks much better.

Your right, the RMM is light weight. The L-Tuned is heavy weight. Does anyone where you can get the L-tuned mesh from???
