I personally see no reason (other than the nice loaner) to take my car in to a Lexus dealer these days.

1. Direct rip offs of something else
2. A blend of focus group info
3. Too much computer input. It simply looks ugly in person
4. No idea what luxury is (what are designers backgrounds).
5. Make them look SUVish b/c of that current craze.
6. Making aerodyanmics change things instead of finding a way to be more aeordynamic.
Aston Martin has a clue but sadly those cost a fortune.

(I want this little sign to say "1Sick" instead of "stupid.")Haha, remember how the original Vantage had tail-lights that were taken from the JDM equivalent of the Mazda 323? And it had Miata door handles, among other things...And it STILL looked damn good!

They did a ton of research in materals and found leather is cheaper than plastic for the dash!
The man behind the designs is Ian Callum, who will design the next Jag XK!

Speaking of onboard and offboard and such...Mitsu's CEO ran away today to take a position at a software or tech company or something...The captain apparently doesn't want to go down with the ship.
Just wait for the fire sale on Evos...Which probably isn't such a good thing, because I'm sure it won't be too long before the "best-backed cars in the world" have absolutely no backing at all. I think Mitsu is offering 10-year warrantys as a gimmick to move units short-term because they know they probably won't be around in 10 years.
Wow, talk about a tangent...
