Default Nice, clean E39 5series

Sometimes, I forget how much I love the E39 5series BMW (preferrably the M5), then I see pics like this, and it all comes back. This one is very simple but (IMO) it just "works". Hope you guys like it.

20x9.0 / 20x10.5iFORGED Swift
Hyper - Black Finish
3" front lip / 4" rear lip
H&R Coilovers (2.5" drop)
M5 front and rear bumpers
Angel Eye eye headlights with clear corners
Celis Tailights

It used to have these wheels, same specs, just Brushed Aluminum

Well they're iForged, so of course I love it.....so D when does my free set come in...?

But honestly, except for the 8 Series, the E39 5 series is my favorite BMW. IMO it is the best looking sports sedan ever seen in the US. That's why the abortion-of-a-sedan, the E60 makes me so angry. Anywho, I'm loving the white with both silver and black rims. The drop is mean too!

IMO the owner should've kept the brushed aluminum ones. The black ones seem to bring the contrast level of the Bimmer deeper and deeper (too deep) Some black-and-white color schemes on cars are nice, but I think they should be reasonably limited to appreciate the overall impression of the ride.

My guess is that the black wheels are on the left side and the brushed wheels are on the right side...

I still like the E39- I considered a 540i 6-speed before buying the GS. Ultimately, I know I got a better, more reliable car with the GS400- and for some reason the E39 looks terrribly dated now...

20s are almost too big on the E39- they look nuts. I would like the iForged wheels better if the face wasn't so flat (oh yeah, and if they didn't rip off other wheel styles)- they just look cheap to me.

Yes 20s are the E39 are too much. The car does not have the big body look of the GS though the cars are similar in size.
I like the black better, as it makes the wheels look smaller. The Brushed looks huge!

It still looks beautiful to me though.

The car used to have the brushed and now has the black ones. I think the 10.5 and aggressive offset give it that "almost" to big look. If it were my car, I would just go with a 10 and live with the 3.5". For some reason I just like that car. And yeah a plain is showing some gray around the temples, but that damn M5 is still a looker! LOL

The other comments you made (regarding iFORGED) are kinda out of place for you, I have always noted that you take a more diplomatic approach when it comes to the 2 competing companies. I know there are behind the scenes politics that may spur certain feelings of dislike or what have you, but I dont ever recall you making the cliche "they copy this, yadda yadda" comments. I actually make it a point to remain neutral and professional with regards to my thoughts on HRE. Honestly, I'm sure everyone could find ways to take swipes one product or another, but we're above that.

That is unlike you, usually offer up very valuable info and I usually respect but that is just nonsense. What a shame.

If you look you'll notice that in the pics with Black wheels, he has cleared tail lights, but with the brushed aluminum, they're not. 2 seperate occasions...
