From my understanding the CLS was the slight favorite. Nice drifiting shots.

 

Yeah basically winning out because it kept on the heels of the M5 in the performance tests but was far more comfortable (better ride in sport mode vs. BMW comfort mode) and more room. Same braking worse gas mileage for the BMW. They gave props for the overall refinement of the MB. Honestly it seemed like a strangely antisepctic review.

I like the styling and looks of the CLS, but from a business point of view, the CLS is Mercedes’ answer to a question no one asked. The segment it’s trying to fill is already taken up by the E class. Their success is going to be on the price of the other.

 

Thanx for the link. Awesome performing sedans( yes the CLS is still a sedan AFAIC). Neither are great looking cars & I don't think either car looks good in silver. They both are more suited to dark colors IMO.

yup first time seeing the cls in action, very cool! the car looks big

 

i dont think its any bigger than the current CL or the E55...it may just look funny next to the BMW...

yeah the size is about that of teh e class i believe. i don't think it's even as big as the cl. but just that it "looks" big
