Are cars getting uglier these days or is it just me?

 

Wow that is horrible, even worse than the Subaru Forester although I really think the Forester looks like crap too. Way to go Subaru, another all-time ugly POS. Is the Subaru designer in a race with Bangle to see who can make the ugliest cars of all time?

 

It looks like a Japanese version of the Mercedes Smart car with an Alfa Romeo grille. My guess from the size and shape of it is that it will replace the old Subaru Justy in the entry-level market.
I don't care for its looks either, but keep in mind.....under the skin, Subaru makes anything BUT an ugly AWD system...though, being a Japanese home-market car, it may not have AWD standard like in the U.S.

 

Yay, it's only in Japan. Even the suzuki aerio is slightly better.
