2005 Suburu Legacy. Don't sleep on it.

Looks like a GT Limited with a Hippo Sleek kit. Looks fabulous and the perfomance goods to match. This car now competes very will with the TL, G35, IS 300, 3 series etc.

Yeah, that's quiet a piece of work right there. I really gotta hand it to Subaru. Great job!

That looks very angry, I love it!!
Great find Sick! |
That car looks great. Looks a lot better than all the family sedans like accord, camry , passat. The interior isn't bad either.
Now if that thing had the performance of the WRX STI, it would be insane!:eek2: |

Yes, without question, the 2005 Legacys and Outbacks are nice. Their only real problem, in my opinion, are the unduly restricted combinations of interior and exterior trim and paint color combinations available. But, as I and others have said numerous times, Subaru makes the best inexpensive AWD system on the market. I am looking at a 2005 Outback myself as a possible car ( or second car) for lousy weather....RWD IS300's just don't cut it in the snow, even with all-season rubber.
I would recommend the Outback 2.5i for do-it-yourselfers on the oil change.....the Turbo engine and regular Legacy sedans (which sit much lower and have a panel under the engine) do not allow easy access under the front to get at the oil filter and drain plug like the 2.5i does. You power guys who want the Turbo...just realize that it will make oil changes a lot more difficult. You'll probably have to take it to the shop. |
