You two win lol. I still feel sick about the money i spent though.
I spent over 2 G's for the 90K service and a couple other misc repairs on my ES. I don't really feel sick about it since that ensures me the car will last longer (though I probably could've gotten it done cheaper at Toyota)

Never, of course because it is usually for mods that make the car faster, more plush, or look better. In actuality, I think that is probably a drop in the bucket for some folks out here....LOL!

probably haha. my car's running perfectly so i'm modding it. if i was a member when i had my rx7, the topic would have been.. does anybody else feel sick then they spend $10k in 2 weeks modding their car?
I only feel sick if I was to spend that much if the dealer ripped me off. If it's for performance parts, bigger wheels, etc., then I won't feel as bad. By the way, what did you spend $2000 on if you don't mind me asking. I'm gonna be spending about at least near $1000 for parts and labor by the end of this month for a complete T-belt change. Labor is only $350 and includes changing t-belt, water pump, spark plugs, spark plugs wire, crank seal, tensioner, and cam seal. I'm gonna buy the parts from Lexus seperately and pay the mechanic to install in the parts.
He also has a sc400 that has over 220k on it and doea all the work himself so I trust him w/ my car. I hope nothing goes bad, knock on wood.
I feel your pain, but when you look at the your car with these mods it makes forget about how much you spent and you realize how good it looks...Well, thats how I look at it...
I spent over $8k for engine and under the carriage suspension mods, and once you close the hood or drop the jack, you can't really see a difference .....now if that doesn't make you sick to your stomach, I don't know what will....
