Default sexylexy?

Let's hope it happens. I am a coupe guy. I don't like the new sc. I was planning to buy a g35. This new design would keep me home. My current 95 sc will be around long enough to wait for the new design.

Lexus will have a sales winner if the next model does come in a coupe and
sedan (no wagon needed), choice of 2 engines (6 and 8 cylinder), and sleek,
stunning design like the G35 coupe.

I'll take an 8 cylinder 290 hp IS430 coupe!!!...(and keep it under $37,000)

I think Lexus did pretty good for their first attempt at a small, performance sedan. The sales #'s probably would be higher if the IS came in more variations; coupe, convertible, high-performance.

As a former IS owner, I loved the way it handled, and its exterior looks (especially those damn sexy graphite wheels!), but the interior needed A LOT of re-working.

Lexus can only succeed from now on.

What did you think needed reworking in the interior? The chrome ball shifter and the chronograph gagues attracted a lot of people to the car. Granted, the small temp gauge is hard to read, the vaccum mileage gauge above it is a joke, and the dash could use some nice padding instead of that hard dark-gray plastic. Otherwise I think they did a pretty nice job....and there are wood, carbon-fiber, and other trim packages available it you want to spruce it up a little.

I am really curious to see how this thing really looks. I may have to trade mine in. Just kidding. The only way I could do it is if I kept mine and bought another one. I just love my little IS.
