So I'm driving home today when I see a CTS coming at me. I notice a different grill and as it goes by I think the wheels look a little different too...maybe bigger. After it passes I look in my rearview mirror and I see it has no plate but a paper temp taped up in the back window. I waited for the rest of traffic to go buy and i flipped a U turn in the middle of the street but to my disappointment, I couldn't find it. I did see a CL600, but no CTS-V. Any of you guys know if thy're on dealerships yet? I know some GTO's have been arriving.

They actually make the CTS just down the street from where I work so I see the normal ones all the time. My friend from work who’s dad is the sales manager for the Caddy dealership in town, he said the first one came in and they had it for only 3 hours. The customer came and got it as soon as he was told it was in.

 

They're all over ebay...

 

50k starting, 52k with the sunroof. Not a bad proposition really. I like the CTS-V and a very solid effort by Caddy. Very solid.

Will it swoon M3 buyers, hell no. S4 buyers, possibly. I think most of the buyers will have had or have a Vette and is a die-hard American car buyer.

 

It could be a dealer special. At Classic Cadillac in Atlanta, before the CTS-V was even official, the were selling a CTS that they called the VST-I. It had a tuned engine, different 18" wheels, a body kit and maybe some other stuff. I saw it in the dealership but I've only seen one on the road.
