Default Break-in.

Congragulations. Now treat it right from the start. Break it in properly......no hard stops (except in an emergency) for 1000 miles. Ditto for the RPM's...try to keep it below 4000 for the first 1000 miles. No constant engine speeds. After 1000-1500 miles you can redline it. Change the oil and filter after 1000-1500 miles....this will get any shavings and impurities out. Then you can go to the normal oil change intervals. (Yes, I know that salespeople still sometimes bulls--- you into thinking you don't need break-ins anymore, but it still is a good idea for maximum life)
Check the label for manufacture date (usually on the driver's doorpost). Let the original factory paint go for a couple of months to cure completely...then you can wax it. An exception would be if you got bird or insect droppings that could harm the paint...then use a gentle scratch-out light abrasive after washing.

Very nice very nice, I was in one of those for a weekend and I loved it, 4cylinder an all. I see why they priced it the way they did because your getting probably the absolute best that can be offered with out compromising anything. As a Lexus driver I wasen't hurting for anything but more room.

Default THANKS!!!

Everyone: Thankyou for the kind words! I will show my gf this thread tonight and let her read all the replies. I have to say that my love for modding car has rubbed off on her. I basically guided her in the right direction but she made the final decisions on the parts that she wanted for her car. She truly loves her new car and the way it drives. Believe it or not, she put down $22K on this car so it will be paid off in 2 years! that's why I helped pay for all the goodies. Hopefully when I'm ready for my Turbo, she will return the favor! One last pic for the road...

LXOGOOD,

New Acuras sure are looking good these days. Her car looks like a mini version of yours back before you put on a kit. But that was kind of the point, right?

Nice choice

Mike

Allow me to introduce you to the one, the only NSX...

My fiance is looking at trading in her 99 Accord EX for a 2005 Acura TL this December.

I really like the TSXs and so does she... but we just really think that for 4-5k more it's worth it since you get the V6, more space, and a quieter ride.
