I've personally seen one in action w/ slight mods and slicks and it put the smack down on a 911 TT 996! The new E55 is S I C K no question, and it was getting MAD traction form those BF Drags he had. I seriously believe the COBRA w/ slicks would have prevailed. Keep in mind... ANY loss of traction shifting adds up to tenths/seconds and more of a loss in racing.

I don't care if it has slicks or a little guide wire pulling it down the road, it's got lot's of mods and got it's azz handed to it by a bone stock production vehicle

It seems like the Cobra is a little more powerful now because it was so close to the Benz on the second run. Next time if the driver of the Cobra cleans up his shifts he might just edge out the Benz...but still, that Benz is crazy fast out of the box!!!

The Cobra is simply not fast enough for the Benz.
I just saw a clean shaven, middle aged guy taking his 3 year old daughter to the mall in his Viper GTS earlier tonight. When I complimented his car and asked how much hp it's making, he politely said that it has "some more" hp more than stock (450hp) because he's added something to the engine.
Gawd that Viper's rear tires make my 255/40/17s look like they're from a bicycle.
Now this bigger snake may give the Benz a run for its money.
