Nothing beats the MB star but I also quite liked the Cadillac hood emblems...

Well before it gets too hot and I turn into a diva and won’t drive the convertible, I took a decent shot of it at physical therapy today.

I LOVVVVVVVE the Bose stereo. It just knocks.

Haven't talked to the guy, he's very laid back and chill which I honestly like bc I am too. He had a business trip in CA and I'm sure will be in touch sometime soon.

Lol. It just knocks. Back then MB put really expensive **** in their cars. If you want proof, listen to mine then try the HK in the R230.

I've always liked Bose, but the high end ones. I've heard crappy Bose. The Enclave has shitty Bose. Denali's Bose is excellent too.

I put the top up today and drove around, I quite like top up driving as well. The A/C is so cold, I've never had to point a vent away from me. MB could do A/C. Blower vent is too loud though, they could take a page from Lexus. MBs are known for that, old ones at least.

So I had these 2 beasts behind me today, I have to say as much as that Escalade is bad ***, it really isn't much more bossy to me than the Denali right next to it. Not 40 grand worth that's for sure. Until I saw the V badge. Some 30 year old chick driving it lol, she had the exhaust on quiet but oh it sounded great still.

oh yea my W211 has the harman kardon and it's nothing special, doesn't compare to the pioneer in the LS

that's why 'brand loyalty' is almost always pointless since just about everyone has their products that they really give a **** about and those that just need to pay the bills... i'm damn certain that since the LS 400 pioneer doesn't put anywhere near that much effort into an audio system anymore lol, nakamichi put SO much effort into theirs the company ended up going bankrupt and got bought out by a chinese company in the late 90s

I NEVER have heard Nakamichi, unfortunately. Not once.

And yep, LS430 Pioneer is quite good for a factory base setup.

Back then Bose was big, you mention your stereo being nothing special... The previous W210 E-Class had Bose that's good like in my car. The W140 Bose had a tray of 4 woofers behind the rear seats and absolutely just knocked.

Big brain moment right here. Turning in from a one way on the right of frame across three lanes into the leftmost lanes going the other way.

Interestingly enough if you don't use XX-20 oil and change no longer than 7500 miles with a high grade oil even a Hyundai 2.4 can make it from 57k-200k+ without a single issue other than a crank sensor at 180k.

One of my customers Hyundais, this customer has always listened to me for this and his last two cars and has always gotten good results. He's kept this car longer than any of the others and it's still doing totally fine, very curious how much of a difference good ownership makes.

I'm glad for your friend, but I wouldn't imagine a Sonata being reliable to 180k as a huge anomaly.

They're decent cars, not very complex... that one isn't at least.

Oh it's a huge outlier, they are usually on engine 2 if not 3 by 180k lol!

It's just here for a valve cover leak and for me to check it over again, all looks good though including the HPFP follower etc.
