Got a delivery while I was in NJ and cleaned both cars up when we got back. I ordered some new spray sealants from Katiba which is a South Korean detailing brand. Its a stacked system, they have their Wet Wax which is supposed to give a wet look (shocker I know), their Signature Wax which is supposed to be a little more durable and warmer looking (more like a carnauba wax). They also have a Gloss Booster then which is supposed to add slickness and hydrophobics and a lot of gloss. I got the Wet Wax and the Gloss Booster. I gotta say this might be the best looking product I have found outside of a ceramic coating. Its supposed to have hydrophobics to rival ceramic coatings too.

No streaking at all from either product. The Wet Wax is not especially slick feeling but the Gloss Booster really is. Also hides some swirls. The Mercedes is in good shape but the Pacifica is really beat below the beltline and needs to be compounded out. Worth a look.

If you want me to spend more of your money you can buy it here lol, The House of Rags is the only US distributor at current.

Cool Anime type bottles. The Wet Wax has no smell but the Gloss Booster smells like men's cologne

Hard to tell in pictures but it really feels and looks great. We're supposed to have weather Tuesday (pray for me its just rain) so we'll get to see the hydrophobics.

Also went over to the Chrysler dealer and got new front and rear wipers for it. $140 for Mopar OEM wipers...yikes...they are the same Denso wipers Lexus uses though and they're better than anything you can get in a PepBoys etc.

It's such a shame too, a wagon on air is 100% able to do everything a crossover can and drives SO much better.

However the fact is that it's easier for old people to get in and out of SUVs and it's the older folk who can actually afford new cars. Add on the perception of "tall is safer" and the look of a tall vehicle being more imposing and it's not surprising at all that CUVs are the most popular. Final nail in the coffin is most people don't actually drive nor do they care about how a vehicle feels and reacts to the user

If I were shopping for a GLE I would SERIOUSLY consider an E450 wagon. Issue is its just too small for us.

Even in the pictures that looks very good, I think I'll try them but I'm running ceramic on most of the cars already. It will go on the LS460

These are also designed to be put on top of ceramic coatings. Give it a try, I think THOR is having a Black Friday sale too.

I didn't do ceramic this time on the S580, I like trying new things and honestly the car always has something on it I'm trying out so the ceramic is kind of wasted.

It really makes the flake pop.

I totally get that, when I was shopping for a replacement to my work Jeep I kept trying to justify an A6 allroad but I kept getting concerned about the space. On the one hand, AWD, manual, TTV6, 8.5-10 inches ground clearance when I need it and dynamics of a car....on the other it just will not fit certain things I need to transport on occasion.

That's how the XC90 won, I have other cars that do the driving far better than an A6 would so it made more sense in my case to get a SUV that is better at SUV stuff and not try and blend the two. If you could only have 1 or 2 cars though it makes a lot of sense, RS6 and a nice full length bed truck or van is able to literally anything you would never need.

I have a friend who had a new generation 760 and just traded it for an RS6 Avant, he LOVES it. The big 7 was just too big and boaty for him,

That is disappointing. That was a staple of them.

There's an old W210 E320 wagon around my area I've spoken to the owner, he says he can't stop for gas without being offered to sell it lol.

Not crazy about the looks from the rear but MB can build a damn station wagon, that's not up for dispute.

I can see that, 7s are a bit soft and floaty unless you have the prior gen sport setups. Generally speaking the sport to soft spectrum is A8->AMG->7 sport->7->S class with Lexus normally with the S class but not the LS500 or the F sport LS460

You can buy replacement rubber for the Denso designer wipers and reuse the housings. You can also get Denso wipers on rockauto.

..........which, IMO, fits the 7's primary-role. A luxo-sedan is not supposed to be an M3.
