And even the first LX570 before any facelifts looks better than the 600, from behind at least. IDK what Lexus is doing with all that plastic cladding, and it would be cool for $120,000 if it had some sort of nice looking exhaust. Nothing major.
The plastic cladding makes it look more rugged and scratch resistant.
Oh, mine has never deactivated before this so I was quite surprised. And I've gotten a LOT of bugs on both domes before and rain has never caused it to get mad, I guess fog was the big trigger for it.
That's quite funny you got a bug hit bad enough to instantly down the sensor though lol!
It was a BIG bug lol.
The one on my S560 the sensor would get dirty and it would complain and I would have to stop and clean it off, but in the S580 that hasn't happened yet.
@AJT123 we are headed to Disney next week and I reserved an Escalade. It was only $100 more than a Tahoe so why not?

Nicccce! I wonder if it rides any better than a high end Tahoe or Denali with the air and fancy dampers bc it has both those things. Let us know!
Enjoy the 6.2, IIRC you haven't driven that one. It's not fast like your car but oh it's a satisfying engine.

Its hard to say, I have test driven them but they tend to have HUGE wheels and that probably negates the damper improvement. Looking forward to driving one for an extended period. Hopefully I will actually get an Escalade, its an Escalade "or similar". So I might get a Navigator or a QX80 or something like that... $270 for a week not bad.
The dampers I personally can't tell are working..which is probably a good thing. I find the Denali has an excellent ride, and it has 22s and no air. It's not going to track like your S-Class, but it's an immensely comfortable rig at higher speeds.

Two questions
1) Are you renting to go from the airport to the resort and then use it to get to the parks? We usually take the Disney Express bus to the resort and do Uber when needed.
2) $270/week for an Escalade? Where?

We started renting a car during COVID and it is so easy we just do it all the time now vs taking the Disney busses. They no longer do the Magical Express to and from the resorts. So we just drive to the resort and then drive to all of the parks except whatever one we can monorail or walk or boat to depending on where we are staying.
From Avis, I have an AMEX Platinum card so I get discounts but it’s an exceptionally good deal. This is a very good time to go because attendance is way down since kids are back in school etc. We always go the end of September.
