General Car Conversation 2025 - Part 2
If they're making it for that ultra expensive sports car why wouldn't it trickle down to other high end models? At least that's what they'd do if they were smart. But we all know how dumb Toyota has been, well, for a long time.
Totally different experiences really, the 600h is extremely smooth but doesn't have any engagement like a 460 can. It's an exceptionally good execution and experience though, it's impossible to find a mint one though haha!
I've been looking for a perfect spec 600 for a few years now, I'm sure I'll get one eventually but they are rare

I had both a 460 and 600hL and the 600 was one of my favorite cars at that time and I loved it way better than my 460. They were all fully loaded with the option being exec package or not which I didn’t want. It had leather dash and the wood shift **** which were unique to the 600. It had the powered flip down tv with remote and headphones and a nice cooled box in the backseat. I loved when way it drove and the instant torque from the hybrid powertrain. It has really great features for its time.
LS460 does 0-60 in 5.6 seconds and you can get at least 26-27MPG with it on the highway. I'm good. LS600 is nice but didn't really do the things they wanted it to do (V12 power with V6 fuel economy, blazing performance etc).

And here is an article where they got 6.3 seconds with the 600.

I don't want batteries in my car, except one to start it.

I still haven't gone into a Bucees yet!!!
Re: that Lambo, uh yeah it's a nice design. LOL. But white supercars I just don't get, my own personal taste. If you want an easy color, go with black. A black Lamborghini has a better ring to it than a white one. And honestly no color beats black IMO.

I think there's one in development honestly, but they're being cagey about it. Probably an updated 5.0 UR but with turbos which would save money, and it's tried and true. If so, it would be a monster and satisfy those who say the regular, current 5.0 doesn't have enough torque.

The hybrid system really fixes the URs lack of torque down low for sure but I wish they could have offered a TT option for the normal 460 with the traditional trans. The 600 is one of the smoothest things I've ever driven
My W12s are as smooth or smoother but they still have transmissions that in the 5/6 speeds in particular can be caught lacking. The ZF8 cars not so much but the D4s are way way way more sporty so even with their ultra smooth powerbands the car itself doesn't compel you to experience it the same way as an LS600

Nice, the issue in running into is that the exec pack is a must have in my case. I don't intend to drive it and I want the best possible seat for myself

If I ever have any I would assign a current gen grand Cherokee to kid duty until they are old enough and properly trained on how to treat the real cars.
Small trunk is a major pain in all my cars other than the Phaeton, even the non-fridge D4s have not the best space back there. On out of state shooting trips we usually have some overflow into the back seats from that other than ammo. I always keep that directly behind the front seats regardless of trunk load to keep weight as centered and low as possible

Truly dislike TNGA for the most part
