Thanks. My A6 was a 2016. Here's a pic. Not the best but it seems to be the only one that I can find.

Forget the car (although it does look nice) but is that a four car garage? I would kill for that. If I had that I would buy another car right now.

No black cars for me, thank you.
I couldn't comprehend that level of heat.

Hell when I picked up that black W12 from TN the car was going into thermal protection for the powered blind motors! Even up by me black cars always have more heat related interior issues like headliner glue failure etc

No, they are the no pearl, no flake optional 2x thickness Klavierlack black paint. 12 layer and hand buffed like a Lexus, https://www.vwvortex.com/threads/bla...tions.1697780/

Extremely hard to get repainted, the 4.0 is normal black and it's been repainted on near every body panel already (poorly) so I don't care. I bought it that way and only bothered to correct and ceramic, not worth a wet sand/repaint IMO

Nice C7! What was your spec? I like how floret has more blue subtones, looks very nice when it color shifts at twilight. Ice is a little less blue more grey

Garage is very nice as well, my dream garage would be a half circle of bays enclosing most of a courtyard with 12 bays total lol!

My car just downloaded this OTA update, interested to see what difference it has made to the driving assistance systems

Huh?

And yep it's hot in TN in the summer lol. I know I'm bitchign about being up here in NY but it sure is nice, weather wise in the dead of August. For perspective it's so hot there now, my Mom won't let our cat out at home (she's watching her) bc it's too hot. The cat would be fine, but still.

The D4s have temperature probes in the mechanized parts to prevent damage, I had the car out in direct sunlight in a park while I was inspecting it and ambient was 97*

The car binged at me and refused to move the sunroof shades and rear shade from how much heat got soaked in, partially because of the black paint. When back to the hotel garage they worked just fine and the code reader logged a thermal event. My D4s have 5 powered shades you can use to block out various windows and the sunroofs etc, fairly common feature on flagships

Stopped for food and the Taco Bell was drive through only out in the middle of nowhere PA. Using the engine as a table so I don't touch the paint lol!

I don’t mind Taco Bell every now and then. Actually sounds pretty good right now.

I rarely eat in the car, but do from time to time on a trip. Taco Bell I would keep out of the car!

The random craving is a thing with Taco Bell, in my case the subway worker was hiding behind the counter when they still had 20+ minutes to be open.

Totally agree Steve, this is just way too risky to eat inside lol! Engine kept the food warmer at least
