Interesting that the black 12 is the one people are picking lol!

I really prefer the silver in person because it highlights the body lines far better, the black is muted and not as distinct.

The starter sound is amazing yes!

It’s an amazing glass cleaner. You can’t make it streak if you try!

Black is the best color overall IMO. You just can't go wrong with a black car.

I prefer the silver too. Is it Florett Silver? I had an A6 in Florett and it looks similar.
Great pics!

My G37 was black. Last black car I will ever own.

Even the medium/dark grey on my current car is much easier to deal with.

Depends, in my experience if it is a metallic black I don’t think it’s much work keeping it clean but if it is a non-metallic black like my old IS250, no way I would ever get that kind of black car again, it was terrible.

With that being said, I hand wash my cars and if I didn’t, I wouldn’t get black. I actually saw a relatively new black TLX next to me driving today and the scratches I saw in the sun were horrible and looked like it was all from a car wash. I couldn’t live with that.

Haha! I knew you would get it!

Some cars have certain color that just works with the body shape well, I think for the D4 (as much as I love perfect condition black paint) silver is the correct color because of how the metalwork was done.

The phaeton and D4 W12 are the 12 layer black lacquer paint that will show a mark if you so much as brush a hand over anything. Aka the sanity killers, I'm going to have them both PPFed so I don't have to be as careful

It gets up to almost 120 in the summer here, and I park outside at work.

No black cars for me, thank you.

So it's not metallic black? As I mentioned, that's a no go for me. My 94 Supra and 08 IS250 were terrible. I remember my Supra had to get some minor paint on the hood and it was a one stage paint without a separate clearcoat. F that.
