General Car Conversation 2025 - Part 2
Interesting that the black 12 is the one people are picking lol!
I really prefer the silver in person because it highlights the body lines far better, the black is muted and not as distinct.
The starter sound is amazing yes!

I just bought a bottle as well but the small bottle. Pretty expensive glass cleaner for $30 including shipping but based on everyone’s experience here I had to try it. I can’t help but try things based on recommendations here because I don’t have time to research and try things myself.
Black is the best color overall IMO. You just can't go wrong with a black car.
Great pics!
Depends, in my experience if it is a metallic black I don’t think it’s much work keeping it clean but if it is a non-metallic black like my old IS250, no way I would ever get that kind of black car again, it was terrible.
With that being said, I hand wash my cars and if I didn’t, I wouldn’t get black. I actually saw a relatively new black TLX next to me driving today and the scratches I saw in the sun were horrible and looked like it was all from a car wash. I couldn’t live with that.

Haha! I knew you would get it!
Some cars have certain color that just works with the body shape well, I think for the D4 (as much as I love perfect condition black paint) silver is the correct color because of how the metalwork was done.

So it's not metallic black? As I mentioned, that's a no go for me. My 94 Supra and 08 IS250 were terrible. I remember my Supra had to get some minor paint on the hood and it was a one stage paint without a separate clearcoat. F that.
