My TTV8 has no boost when cruising on the highway. I can look at the boost in the displays. You are only in boost under moderate to heavy acceleration.
I know but that's a sleek, comparatively light sedan that is absurdly overpowered, not a 6000lb truck with not great aerodynamics.
Sorry to yank this off what we're just saying but Steve isn't your lease up soon? What are you thinking about next? Isn't your car a '21?
No my S580 is a 2024. I just got it a year ago. 2 more years at least until I replace it. It’s a 4 year lease but I usually trade out about a year early.
It's unavailable, needless to say. And judging by others on their website, you could only ever get there by qualifying for a lot of additional but specific incentives...

Yes but you are aware that they tried to sell versions of this car for 90 grand at first, right?
The hurricane powered one will do much better, and the Hemi will wind up in it I'm sure.
The dealer that I bought the Pacifica Hybrid from was near Baltimore and they specialized in the high powered Mopar stuff. A shame they were so shady because it was a very cool dealer, full of all the special hellcats and special edition Chargers etc. I have wondered how they are doing through all of this...
I think if you settled for a 350 you'd be unhappy. Have you test driven an IS 500 yet? Production of these ends in November but you have plenty of time. Are you going brand new or lightly used?.
Probably lightly used. My brother said the same thing about settling. He reminded me of how I got a 2014 IS250 (it was my first brand new car and I was in my 40s) and loved everything about it except the fact it was slow. The 2016 350 remedied that. I have not test driven a 500 yet. The consistent reviewer shortcomings tend to be related to dated info tech and the fact you can buy faster cars. I don’t care about either.
I see a significant car that will never be produced after production stops this year. My AE86 is a car that became significant accidentally in my view. I always enjoyed it. I look forward to enjoying it again one of these days. The 500:is different. It’s a tribute to the end of an era. Anything else will disappoint. Thanks again for your thoughts on it as an owner.
