Early results show a ~25% increase in fuel economy as well. Being basically straight piped, there are of course lots of fun turbo noises now. It noticeably smokes right at cold start, but only for the first 1.5 seconds.
It may not just be because of the modifications. For several reasons which I've already covered in other threads/posts, warming temperatures alone (which we have had lately in the U.S. as spring marches on) will often give you a noticeable increase in fuel mileage as well, even over and above any other factors.
This post from Facebook shows my issue with the diamond white my S560 was. They’re having their car wrapped in matte vanilla white, you can really see how yellow the diamond white paint looks on the unwrapped bumper. This always bugged me. They replaced that color with Moonlight White which is much brighter.
So for all you speed racers out there (I'm talking to you @BayeauxLex ) I was driving to work this morning, traffic was about moderate, and this motorcycle shoots past me so fast, he actually shocked me. He's cutting through traffic, going from left lane to right lane and back. Just insane. Than a guy in a white Camry decides 75 mph was too slow, and he starts doing the same thing, cuts all the way from the left lane cutting between cars. Well, about 5 minutes later, traffic comes to an almost complete halt. There are cars pulled over in the left lane as well as the right lane, all part of an accident, which I suspected was caused by either the motor cycle or the Camry. as I pass the right lane, I see people gathered around something shattered, and a guy laying on the ground withering in pain
I took a video as I was passing, it's a bit blurry due to it focusing on the dash. There were at least 5 cars involved, and a couple were totaled. And yes, my friend in the White Camry was involved as well. Below is a link to the video as I was passing by
If he lives. He looked pretty bad. A few people had their cars totaled, and one of the women standing over the guy looked like she was either a nurse or medical assistant as she was dressed like she works in a doctors office, or maybe dentist office. With all the cars with dash cams and people with smart phones, I'm sure it was all caught on video. My Tesla caught the motorcycle driver as he shot past me. CHP has also installed a lot of Camera's as this particular freeway is known for aggressive driving and racing. Once a Charger going over 100 mph cut through a small space between my car and the car in front of me, the shock wave I felt was unreal
Even when I used to ride crotch rockets to now, I don’t weave in and out of traffic aka cut up. I’ve done some crazy 💩 over the years and just thankful I made it out alive.
Nowadays my pulls occur when the left lane clears like a run way. Ready for take off 🛫

I've tracked fuel economy on this car for 14 years. It's not temperature.
I'll be heading out to our San Antonio Texas office this June for a project, and I was hoping to get my hands on something like a Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, but other than Turo, no luck. There's nothing but Toyota Camry's, Chevy Malibu's, and hybrids in the mid $60 a day range, which is my companies limit. Can't even find a Charger R/T. Looks like I'll probably just book a Model 3, no way I'm driving a four banger for a week unless absolutely forced to.
Times have definitely changed. Pre-COVID, I used to be able to get a Mustang GT, Charger R/T or something like a CTS with the 3.6L around the $50 a day range

@AJT123 My friend who went from a GLS to Escalade to GX to LX 570 just recent sold their LX last week. Said his wife didn’t love it.
So of course I told them to come to the dark side💀
People may not love them in your world, but lol in West Knoxville they are absolutely EVERYWHERE and owners love them. It's crazy. I literally see them every time I'm out, several. Some sort of 100 or 200, plenty of 80s too. Today:
Lol it's like all 4000 of them got sold here, it's crazy. I know these nationally were not big sellers.
