???? We just did today....although, granted, we haven't had a lot of them in the last few years. Last year, we had only one significant snow.....and none the year before that.
Yea it hardly snows here anymore and if it does it's just a nuisance.
I used to swap out summer and winter tires on my old G37. It just wasn't worth the hassle.
I think the push button shifters are bogus. Just give us old fashioned shifters back console mounted or column I don’t care!
You shouldn’t have to explain to people how to use these complicated joystick shifters.
Timing of this discussion is perfect.
Yesterday my wife took her friend with her to go to court. She left the friend in our MDX with the keys in case she had to move it. This being downtown Brooklyn she left the car in a no standing zone. A truck comes along and can’t make the turn. He started to pressure the friend into moving the car. Well, she couldn’t figure out the shifter buttons. Apparently, my wife was on the phone, the truck driver stuck his head in the car to help out, etc. It was a big mess lol.
Yeah, it is difficult if you’re not used to driving many different cars like some of us do here. I have, on occasion, left the car in gear and try to get out.

And the silly thing is those buttons should be pretty user-friendly. You literally just press button of gear you want you be in. But as you can see, it’s foreign to someone that’s not into cars and has never seen this before.
Some people might try to grab the wiper stalk to put it in gear.
Went to get my trie plugged yesterday at Toyota. As Steve had stated, the tire can't be repaired. Technician knew right away, he did said it is possible he can get it fixed but then said it is too much of a liability and safety would be a huge concern. I ended up ordering knew tires, gonna get four Bridgestone Dueler tires OEM. Overall I am really happy with the OEM tires that game with my SUV. Not sure if the new tires will be Made in Japen like the OEMs are. $355 per tire.

Not sure of the year on SC's MDX, but my Ody has a similar button shifter and if you didn't know you have to put your finger into the crevice and push down to go in reverse, I could see it being an issue. Doesn't take long to figure out, but not that intuitive. Grabbed an MDX pic below:

Just looking at it I have to say I don't like that at all.
Do you like this over an old school shifter handle style?
I surprised my wife with setting her up with a rental Tesla.....she was not amused and is swapping it for a 3 series tomorrow. I was not sure what her reaction was going to be since she had never been in one at all but I got the true genuine reaction I guess.
