Oh you 100% wouldn't........I would take it as a personal challenge to see if the factory durability testing was good enough.

Problem is that if I lease something it would be a car I don't really care about.....if it's something I actually like I would buy it and usually those cars are engineered excessively and don't have those problems. If I had say, a leased BRZ I would explore the oiling system limitations. If I had a turbo 4 I would test just how much I can lean on the turbo before it goes....

I'm very much a cheap *** in that sense, the only reason I'm putting miles on my D4 W12 is I never plan to sell it so I don't care if I'm "ruining" my cost ratio.
Got it 👍I still think I would get you in an EV, although you would be a tough nut to crack If you know my co-worker, he was driving a 2012 Prius with 200k on it just so he wouldn't put miles on his baby Boxter's. He was going to replace it with the new Prius, but after test driving it and an EV back to back, he went with the EV. Paid about $42k out the door

BMW sells theirs in a concentrate also. So if it was 1:2 per that bottle that’s only good to -10C which is 14F. SO that makes sense, it was 12 and high speed and high wind.

I filled it up with Winterfit 1:1 so that’s good to -4F.

Got both cars all nice and cleaned and spray sealed and cleaned up inside. First time for both cars since December!

Right, may as well add scratches on top of it.

If you use a good quality ice scraper it won’t scratch your glass. Glass is pretty hard.

I only scrape in the path of the wipers so the glass isn’t covered in salt etc.

That's the difference with me though, if I had Porsches I wouldn't have boxters. I would have built Turbo-Ss lol!

A Prius sucks though, I my case I stopped using the Jeep as a daily last thanksgiving. Been using my D4 12 since then so it's really really hard to convince me out of it.

He's owned 911's as well. He has Boxster's right now because he loves mid engines, one of them he restored. He'll eventually sell them and buy something else. He's old school, hates the new Porsche's and anything Turbocharged, except the 930 turbo. Wants Porsche to bring back the air cooled engines 😅. I think it's because he knows the older 911 engines really well and works on them himself. It's not about the speed to him, but the engineering and road feel
