I know that, but it still should be a silky Lexus with the V8 especially.

The GS was a higher end Lexus.

My dashboard rattles when it’s cold. And sometimes the passenger headrest rattles when going over big bumps in the road. Sunroof makes very faint, rattling noises over uneven pavement at slow speeds.

2010 GS.

Ew sorry to hear this! That's my favorite GS, looks wise at least. The red ones looked KILLER.

LS430 sunroof creaks for a split second once every now and then if I turn into a parking lot or driveway a certain way but that's it.

There is a large gap, the GS is closer to an ES than the LS outside of driving dynamics

Thanks for the tip, I'll look into it.

I have quit driving the Benz by like 3/4ths, if I'm going to just pile miles on a car by driving around the LS430 is the best pick. It's good on gas for a V8 and comfy as hell.

Trying to keep the miles down on the MB, but I do drive it enough to keep it nice and alive and well.

It's a RWD platform, not a Camry one.

GS was always a higher end Lexus.....

Yup I think the dashboard rattles can be fixed with felt. It actually doesn’t bother me that much.

Yes, I might try that, the sunroof rattling is only apparent when the shade is open, and I don’t hear it at higher speeds, but I think it might be being drowned out by road noise.

I guarantee treating the seal will solve that

2010 GS.
It's not unusual, particularly as a vehicle ages, for interior pieces to make more rattles/squeaks as the temperature drops. Individual parts contract slightly in size, have more space between each other, and borders/seals loosen up. As it warms, those parts once again expand, press more firmly against each other, and tend to be noticeably quieter.

It’s a quality issue…super well built cars don’t do that. My LS400 for instance never rattled ever…neither did the LS430. They don’t make cars like that anymore.

Lol, tell that to my SL that participated in a 60-130MPH pull a few weeks ago.

The car isn't FAST FAST like you guys with insanely fast cars and tunes and race cars , etc. but it's definitely got those Mercedes high end top end legs...... It's way faster than I thought it would be, and I know my old Benzes.

The BMW I was racing got smaller and smaller in my rearview.
Sometimes you have to stretch its legs.

Here are the highlights from F1 race in Vegas if anyone is interested

They do, just way more expensive now. The 460 needed me to correct some minor stuff but it's been silent for the last 30k, the W12s are silent.
