Oh I'm hoping we get another crazy amount of snow...probably not 10 inches again but a legit snow. I sure had fun with the LX over that week. The entire city was just basically closed.
That's sorta how it is here, the weather patterns I've noticed over my life. It'll snow a decent amount for a couple or several years, then nothing for a decade.
But it hasn't gotten cold here yet (or there either I assume), so when it does I feel like winter won't seem as long, lol.
Re: heated stuff
Heated seats and steering wheel are great. Armrest is amazing I'm sure. The LX has a good heated wheel, but of course, the GMC will burn your hands off in 30 seconds.
We haven't had a good winter in 3-4 years. I'd love to get some heavy snow days to just drive the Rivian around
Crikey, crickets here, so I thought the thread got closed. A new guy joined the German club and he’s got a ‘24 Civic Si that he’s mucked around with and he’s got a 300 bhp Honda Civic. He was planning ahead and he upgraded the clutch which I have heard is pretty much a must if you are going to have that much hp. The guy is cool and he likes my car which I told him is all show, no go. We talked about the available ECU flashes and potential horsepower gain. I won’t do that to mine. Civic X has several stories of owners who did the ECU flash and blew up the CVT in the non Si Civics.
Welcome back everyone lol. I really liked the Supra that was spotted and posted here. They really are beautiful and special cars. The straight six was really a nice engine. I like the photo with the Type R. My Civic is a Sport Touring and it’s lightly modded with springs, wheels, and light window tint (also LA Kings plate frames and and FC Bayern sticker), but it does stand out and Type R drivers are always respectful to me with a thumbs up or 🤙
I was in Charleston this week for our retreat. Lots of interesting cars. Tons of luxury cars, especially high end SUVs. I saw more new Range Rovers than I have probably seen ever in the DC area. They are everywhere. Bunch of G Wagens, I saw two Inos Grenadiers, more Mercedes GLSs and BMW X7 than I could count. Several new 7 Series, S Classes everywhere. Definitely a luxury car and especially a luxury SUV town. I will also say @AJT123 I saw more 200 series Land Cruisers and LXs than I have ever seen in any one place! At least 5 200 series Land Cruisers...I see maybe one a year here...maybe.
Didnt take many pictures but this Land Rover was cool
