On the new hurricane.....it seems to be doing relatively well but I would not personally pick one over a hemi and as far as power it will never be on the same level. It would need to at minimum tie 850-1000hp with warranty to claim that

I am just doing the front end plus the rockers, rear bumper, front part of the roof right behind the windshield and the door cups (since somehow my wife scratches the crap out of them when opening the doors).

Also getting paint corrected since there were a lot of surface scratches (my PPF/ceramic guy asked me to tell the dealer not to do anything to the car as far as coating since he would have to spend time stripping it all off) as well as ceramic coated with Feynlab.

 

Ironically, the looser fuel economy standards for HD pickups allowed Ford to design an engine that gets better fuel economy when driven under load, than would an equivalent engine (like the 6.2L Boss that it replaced) which scores better in EPA standardized tests. Market research showed them that 3/4 and 1 ton trucks are driven with heavy loads dramatically more often than 1/2 tons.

He had to upgrade from a Silverado RST (with the 6.2) to the F-250 when he replaced his travel trailer with a 38-footer that has a GVWR over 11k lbs and a tongue weight of 1300 lbs. Those numbers are way too close to the RST's published limits for comfort.

 

I prefer Ford V8s among the domestics and that’s mostly because of my dad and his side of the family being Ford people. GM V8s are great too. The Dodge V8s in the Charger and Challenger sound funky and when people modify the exhaust, it is not a plus in my opinion. Of course, Dodge also made the V10 in the Viper sound like a UPS truck. lol.
