Wonder why Toyota took so long to add the vacuum

The vacuum really isn’t that useful. I maybe used it 2-3 times across the 6 years we had Pacificas with it.

Yeah when honda introduced it i thought it'd be a good idea, but I don't think i'd ever spend time when the car isn't at my house trying to vacuum some crud out.. unless if it's an emergency of course.

Road construction that was not properly marked, with a covering plate that was not set in the right place, at 5am on an unlit road. So there was a dip right in front of the sharp edge of a 2" thick steel plate. Broke two rims and bent the other two. Three tires that would not hold any air. That was 10 years ago.

Then last year my son had a sidewall blowout--on tires that were literally scheduled for replacement 3 days later!--which put him into the curb, popping another one.

yikes! sorry to hear you had to go through that! the first road issue sounds like it would have damaged your suspension too.

Thankfully the wheels took most/all of the impact, and after replacing them (which the state paid for), my alignment wasn't even terribly far off. My son's encounter with the curb bent one control arm each F&R on the passenger side.

Holy cow - if you would've bought Carvana (CVNA) stock around Christmas 2022 - it was $4/share. It is now $229/share. Buying 3k shares would have cost you $12k and would now be worth almost $700k in under 2 years. Man oh man, I bet there are some people out there who made a boat load of money.

Back to flat tires, my buddy and I rented a Hyundai Kona in Frankfurt in 2023 and they offered roadside assistance. We declined saying that both of us know how to change a tire. The agent laughed but probably because there is no spare tire.

Same. If I'm home, the Dyson is right there and if it's sand or gunk I don't want in the Dyson, car wash vacs are more powerful. It's nice to have in a pinch, but I've never run into that pinch

Right, I have a wall vacuum in the garage I just use that. I used it a couple times when we had carseats and we would take them out and move them to the third row because adults would be riding in those second row seats. All the debris underneath the carseats and all, but now thats not an issue.

Thx. The engine cover came stock. I like the engine appearing somewhat stock minus few bolt ons that you can see (even stock exhaust). Hidden is bigger turbo, fuel system and 🌽⛽️.
