Yeah, we need to get back on track or this thread will get closed. Back to cars, I would have preferred blind spot monitoring in the Civic and would give up brake hold for BSM. People seem to like driving in the blind spot. I mentioned before, that if they are slow in the left lane and I pass on the right, they speed up for a while. I know they are there. I guess I want the car to confirm it. I would like a real TPMS instead of Hondas bull**** system that measures based on rotational differential. I liked seeing the PSI over ‘one of your tires is low and you may be effed, but good luck.’
steve i can't make this any more clear lol, imagine that in the span of a single century you went from controlling over 1/4 of the entire world to being known for this:
ha. no idea where your 'psycho analysis' of britain info comes from and yes, there are old people over there still waving the flag and saying 'rule britannia' but that's part of the reason i left - britain was finished a long time ago basically but it just hadn't got past the denial stage. in the 80s it began to realize its only big industry is tourism and the place became a big (and fun) medieval theme park.
britain's 'decline' though from empire power to struggling island of a few bickering countries doesn't mean a lot to me, i certainly had nothing to do with that, and left as soon as the opportunity arose (i was only 20). relating it to cars you can easily see the decline from greatly respected car developer and manufacturer to almost nothing and the well known brands are all owned by companies based in other countries.
this rather long video gives the perspective of one of many who have recently realized it's time to leave.
It is a cool car. However, driving a MT is more painful than it is fun here in the LA area. I mostly go back and forth between home and the German club I am involved in. The 57 North is usually a parking lot and you would rarely get out of second gear. I do have an MT car, but I don’t use it for commuting.
Drove the W12 to work today, first time since my trip two weeks ago and it's really odd having more TQ at 1200 rpm than the S4 does at peak.....but the lack of shifting was actively throwing me off. I kept raising my left foot for no reason coming to stops lol!
