That's the plan. I'm glad I had the $500 deductibles for those claims, though!!!!!
Some companies will have a diminishing deductible where the $1,000 deductible is reduced by $100 for every year claim free. When I had Allstate I had that.
I love the removable/two section subframes on D4 A8s insanely easy to work on them
203k mile trans service on a 4.2 A8, owner is paranoid since he is taking a long trip. Book says 3.8 hours and it took me 27 minutes to pull the subframe center off and get the car drained etc......I'm really beginning to wonder if the ZF8 truly is lifetime full as they never seem to be bad.
A 67k mile Camry I did recently had WAY more material and flecks/pearl in the fluid so these ZFs continue to surprise me.
I love how easy it is to beat book on these as well lol!
Pretty rare they will drop you for no fault claims
CA is an enigma with insurance. I got a 23% increase in premium last year and the reason cited was there are too many unlicensed/uninsured drivers here. Of course, rather than actually addressing that problem, the approach is to bilk more money out of licensed and insured drivers /rolleyes. I fully expect that, if I had more than one claim regardless of the reason, I would not be “offered” a policy renewal.
Oh yeah. One of the first things my father taught me driving was to never cruise in the left lane, traffic or not. It’s basically common sense, yet there are a lot of dumb people out there.
Just got back from a 6 hour drive home from Rochester. The amount of clueless drivers in the left lane on a two lane highway is astounding. I think I learned not to cruise in the left lane in drivers ed but I can’t be sure of that. Regardless, to me it’s almost common sense and just pisses me off when two cars are driving side by side so that no one can pass. All you have to do is look in the rearview mirror and see someone riding your tail and a long line of cars behind you, good god.
Luckily most of the trip wasn’t like that and everyone was going 80mph.
Oh yeah, it’s a huge issue when traveling long distances on highway trips. It really messes up traffic flow and makes driving much more stressful.
I agree on long trips. But for me, it is next to impossible to drive 1-2 hours in any direction without significant traffic. So it is literally pointless to speed this pass. And there are so many slowdowns that come to a complete stop. So I just don’t care anymore
