I have really cheap deductibles I might add, which I may bump up. But then I'll hit something the second I get off the phone with my luck.

Is the E - four version different from f sport from this point of view ? Or the e-four is just like any other nx ? Thank you !
Hi Nicul. You might want to post this over on the "NX Models" forum. More NX owners will see it there.

It’s selling well, they just waited really long to bring such a vehicle to market and the effort isn’t great.

I never said it was impossible that my claims have risen the rates, but I will note that you told me about 30 times they were gonna drop me.. No such thing. You get a warning before, it happened to me when I was 16.

Right.... I get how insurance works. Yukon is a '22.
I never said they were going to drop you, I said they may drop you.

If the Yukon is a 22 it’s not worth $70k anymore.

I would look at $1,000 collision deductibles. That has a good impact on premiums and is an amount of money that isn’t too painful to part with.

Comprehensive and uninsured motorist coverage doesn’t have that big an impact, mine are $200.

With that said I have never paid a collision deductible ever (knock on wood), my wife had a collision claim a couple years ago but it was only the other car that had a claimed (you only pay the deductible to repair your own car), we didn’t repair our car.

I have my deductibles set at $1,000 to keep my rates "low". My problem is that I live in Las Vegas. We have lots of car theft, DUI's, and uninsured motorists here.

The TX had a lengthy stop sale due to a recall, which certainly has limited sales. TMC references it in a few recent sales reports.

The deductibles for Collision and Comprehensive are independent, and the Collision one typically has more influence on your rates. So you could see what it would look like if you kept Collision at $1000 but brought Comprehensive back down to $500. That would provide you a touch more coverage for theft/vandalism, perhaps for very little cost.

For me $1000 vs $200 comp deductible only decreased the annual premium like $80. So may as well have the low comp deductible. I’m way more likely to file a comp claim anyways.

I'm running a $2500 collision and $300 comp, logic being if I hit any of my cars it's $$$$$$ anyway so I'll easy blow past $2500. A headlight is $3850 for the expensive one lol!

I found not much decrease in premium between $1,000 and $2,500 personally.

I am in the same boat (or one just like it). I opted for a $1k deductible to lower my premium and I don’t drive a ton, so I figured it was reasonable to do that. Not long after I increased my collision deductible, my car was hit and run in the parking structure at work. Fortunately, I ended up being paid after a very unexpected turn of events.

I have also had to replace 2 windshields out of pocket because replacement was less than the deductible (I also raised the deductible on comprehensive). It was a gamble to raise the deductibles and it stung a bit, but I have a feeling that, had I filed three no fault insurance claims, I would have been dropped in a heartbeat.

Pretty rare they will drop you for no fault claims

Agreed, it’s horrid what they’ve done to the SQ5. Not only fake exhaust, but fake exhaust valves. I sort of get it on the base Q5 (where they didn’t try nearly this hard to make it look real), but this is the “sporty” model with the TTV6 and the tighter suspension. The prior generation had a real quad exhaust that both looked and sounded great.

Not that this particular customer cares. They’re running CrossClimate2s on a performance SUV, so clearly having it live up to its potential is not in their worry set.

My cousin had this identical Dynasty lol. We called it "The Nasty" because the D and the Y were broken off the emblem and it just read "Nasty". My Grandmother bought it for him for like $300. It burned 3 quarts of oil every 1,000 miles lol

That's the plan. I'm glad I had the $500 deductibles for those claims, though!!!!!
