E55 slaughtered them all with a 4.8 0-60 time with an automatic.
Consistent 4.8 second runs.
But let's look at the price. LOL. Roughly 25-30 grand more expensive than that Lexus.
That said, I'd love an E55. If I had the room my next Benz would be a first gen E55. Something damnit with the hood star!!!!

EDIT: I will admit though that Lexus as usual for the "normal" models absolutely was the better choice and offered a hell of a lot

I've seen some tesla's video and I think they are great. Could it be you're on an older HW? As for BMW, you should not need to activate if there is an accident. It continuously records and will save when it sensors an accident. You can also manually save when needed.

As for the BMW you are right, I have mine set on manual and auto with auto recoding in the event of an accident. I was just used to Tesla where it is always recording so when I go to my car I can pull up the footage of anyone that came near my car during the day.

IIRC the E55 didn't come until three years after the GS400. So the Lexus was at the top of the speed game for a while.
Lexus could have made an absolute killing on the GS had they introduced the twin turbo 2JZ from the Aristo into the US market but never chose to do so.
EDIT: lol, I misremembered, the E55 came out in 1999. But the GS was still the fastest when it came out in '98.

Had a few points, we generally try and only refill the cars when we have enough to knock price down to here.
The least problematic car I've owned to date, I never expected it would just completely not have issues at all. Drinks a bit though...
Muh new HUNDAI, only on engine 3
This thing is going to take me a solid day to clean, the interior is hell to the point I didn't want to drive it back home. Had a friend of a friend suffer though it, should make a good sale once everything is fixed

I should be able to get 6-8x what I paid for it so I'm effectively still making a great amount per hour even if I clean....but you are right, I really should have someone else do cars like this. It's so damn trashed I don't want to sit on the seats as is

Yeah I really do! Plus it's not like it's my car/something cool, I'm rationalizing it as I'm on a day off tomorrow so I can do some yardwork etc and then do this and drink a little.

I have a "handy man" kind of neighbor for odds & ends. Not enough skill to let him paint or fix anything but trim some bushes, stack stuff up, anything busy work he's great.
I can't afford to take time off the bench fixing electronics to do busy stuff and most people I know can't either. Lol
