Why do you say that? My LED cars have been perfect, no issues ever unlike my older HID or traditional bulb cars. They simply do not break or have any issues
Or gets extended warranties. We bought one for our 2RX because at the time there were widespread reports of $2300 (20 years ago!) headlight failures due to water intrusion. 10 years of coverage was about 2/3 the cost of one headlight, so we figured it was worth it. We did get our money's worth out of the policy and then some, but ironically the headlights were perfect for the 12 years and 158k miles we had the car.
Not worried about the expensive (non-matrix) LEDs in the Q7, or the Lasers in the M3.
I like the way you think!! I can see it in my future😏
I'd lovvvvvvve to take my SL500 around a track just for fun, but not to race it. I wouldn't go 10/10 at all.
That said, in one of my groups today a guy took his 1995 R129 to the track overseas and raced it and the car shrugged it off fine. No oil or coolant temperature rise, but a lot of heat coming from the car. He wore a helmet, so it was pretty serious I imagine.
Like I said though, racing is cool but I'm more of an off road guy. I'm more skilled at off roading than racing just from lots of experience.
Back in the day when we could get away with it. Lol
Lol oh I've raced a million people from lights lol. I just mean I ain't no track racer, nor do I claim to be. But I will tear up some stuff off road with my LX570. What's so fun about off roading is you can sit back and think for a sec how you want to handle it. Sometimes it's best, and by far the most fun, to turn all the TRAC off and just spin the wheels, rev the fk out of the V8. You can do that or use Crawl Control but gunning a huge V8 to redline up and over mud and through mud is way more fun.
I'm never going to complain about expensive euro oil/fluids again, I thought my TVD and transfer case fluids were bad at $110/90 a liter....
Toyota is truly unmatched, $250 for one L of LS460 transfer case oil!
Had to order it in, no one local had it and Lexus told me "we just use 80-90 diff oil with LSD additive" The can is crazy nice though, I'm going to keep it as a display item
