I see a variety of cars at track events. There’s always a Tesla there. Heck I’ve seen a MDX on the track and he wasn’t terrible. I don’t know much about Evos but my buddy smacks Porsches and Corvettes all the time on the track. It’s funny to see those guys walk up to his Evo trying to see what he has in it. He’s a helluva driver for sure!! Driver mod!!

I disagree an Ecoboost is a better engine than the 5.3 V8. Maybe faster, but that's it. People are buying them up and I doubt many have complaints.

GM has no compelling V8? What about the 6.2 which is a Corvette engine (basically)?

GM isn't dropping V8s, there's a new one on the way, Thank God.
I have noticed that they have been inching up on the F150. I think there may be some truth to this...

Is this isolated or are there widespread 6.2 oil burning problems?

Plaid envy is really getting old guys 😔

Cope more?

No one is saying ICE is bad, but to beat a Plaid, you have to spend a lot of money and resources, those mods didn't come from Walmart. I'm betting he spent more than $100k and I'm betting that engine is a maint nightmare. I'm also betting that truck is not street legal, a Plaid is. Anyway, this is off topic, I'm not interested in debating nonsense

Is somebody who puts a supercharger on their truck specifically trying to "beat a Plaid"? People modify cars and spend what they spend because they enjoy doing so.

A supercharger for an F150 does not cost $100,000. Maybe $15,000.

I'm not just talking about the a supercharger. He probably upgraded everything from headers, downpipes to the fuel system, it probably runs E85. I had a friend who modified his Si to 350 WHP, he easily spent $20k..and a Honda is cheaper to Modify than an F-150

Still didn't cost anywhere near $100k unless you include the cost of the truck.
