Renders don’t mean anything, I’d be astonished if Lexus refreshed the LS for 2025

There is nothing official about that on any level, just what some guy thinks a refreshed LS might look like.

very much aware of all of that. That said the renders do look very nice don’t they? And word on the street is that refinement won’t be tossed aside thanks to Akio Toyoda being given the proverbial / symbolic boot. No more piped in engine noise nonsense, or harsh ( for an LS) rides. In other words toyota told him to just sit there and look pretty and shut up. And leave the “passionate pursuit of perfection” to us. 👍👍👍

Renders are numerous on the internet.
Very fews have been recognized by the brands making their cars.
Even fewer became a car in the end.

Lexus, in his debut, has rebranded popular models of their Toyota lineups. The IS comes to mind.
A perfect car for the high society exists in the Toyota Lineup. It's called the "Century" and up to date with the actual taste of the clients of the LS.
Time for a rebrand.

LS is about to be killed. There won't be another one.

Sad time for Lexus.

My bet would be on the LS being discontinued rather than redone again.

I know sales really dropped off a cliff after Akio Toyoda’s influence. But I can’t see lexus dropping its legendary foundation. I see them fixing the problems that ruined its refinement and luxury and making a strong comeback with it. Nothing comes close to it in reliability in its class. They need to make it a better S-class /maybach competitor.

I just don't see Toyota caring about such things, unfortunately.

the century is so ugly and outdated looking. The update helped but barely. I would love to see more rolls Royce and less outdated conservatism

Maybe the next LS will have the Toyota corporate 4-cylinder turbo and call is the LS600. Why not since tradition went out the windows for the LS500.

RR is conservatism to a T, they have never strayed from their design language.

true but it’s attractive and elegant and opulent and modern. Can’t say the same about the century other than “it’s updated”.
