Not much new here stylistically, but the car does look very nice. I'm glad it's getting the I6 motor as an option. It's worth noting the size of this car - it's actually slightly bigger than the existing E-class coupe.
For the record, I think the connected tail lights look horrible on the convertible:

Infiniti G Coupes much like original FX were ahead of its time. But leave it to Nissan to kill em slowly and painfully.
The original FX35/45 - wow such amazing cars with truly futuristic styling that was so clean. The interiors were the weak point but handling and motors were fantastic. They had great stock exhaust sound too especially for SUV.
The original G35 was game changer as well.
Then infinity went soft to appeal to larger market and designs were terrible. Once they named everything with a Q - you knew brand was dead!
While I agree this was low effort, it is bigger than the old E-class coupe and has the I6 unlike the C-class.
It's significantly bigger than the previous C-Coupe and slightly longer than the E-Class, mainly because of all the growth in the front overhang. However, the wheelbase is the same as the C Class though, it's basically a C-Coupe to me with a bit more focus on the rear passenger seat space. Hmm.. almost like the C207 E-Class Coupe, which was coincidentally based on the W204 C-Class instead of the W212 E-Class.
The larger rear seats and dimensions is definitely a welcomed change.
I do agree it's nice that it has the i6, and looks better than the 4-Series coupe for sure. Still not impressed by the product though, just feels like a cash grab/easy way out for Benz :/ I wish they at least kept it pillarless like the E Coupes of yore and last-gen CLK.
CLE450 will be the sweet spot of the lineup, CLE53 might get incredibly heavy with hybrid tech.
