Just wanted to share the progress thats being made to my 2005 S2000. The car had a poor paint job when I acquired it in 2020, so I decided it was time for it to look nice again. Fortunately for me, I have family in the business so I was allowed to do this at a family rate. And the best part was that I had an opportunity to help work on it, which was that I took off the bumpers, head and tail lights and fender liners. All of which will be replaced by new OEM parts of the same.
oh yes please keep us updated! i'm a huge S2000 fan, it's another gem from the golden age of japanese sports cars... 9000 rpm, RWD, 6MT, everything a touge driver needs haha
here's mine in forza with a rocket bunny kit, such a satisfying car to drive
Awesome! Looking forward to seeing updates and the final product! BTW does he have a "Friends of the Family" pricing? I have to repair some damage my wife did to our 2020 Hyundai Ioniq before I turn it in at the end of the lease
PS- don't let them lift your car without putting it on jack stands(see pics above). Floor jacks fail and loose pressure without warning and I would've been fired for doing that back in the day, company policy at all the shops I worked at.

Ouch! That looks rough! I think you're likely better off going someplace cheap like Macco for something like a lease return. This shop (owned by my cousin) mostly does fabrication and restoration of 1960's hotrods. He did this for me as a one off, and I still had to wait 6 months since he has a waiting list.

Oh yeah, ummm, that tom-foolery with the jack was done by yours truly here. I did some of the work by removing the front bumper, rear bumper, head lights and tail lights before the professionals took over. They also warned me about it afterwards.

If you think that's bad, here's a friend of mine changing the transmission on his Civic:
Checkout where the jack is on the cinderblock, front drivers side
