There was this guy on Hollywood Blvd in Hollywood in the 80's and 90's, he would be covered in silver paint, and stand for hours and hours, tourists thought he was a statue. He would suddenly make movements. People would gather around him trying to figure out if he was real or a robot. Not a profession I would ever want

Very impressive how some of you just happen to own the best performing stocks in the last few years. I don't recall any of you talking about buying these stocks 2-3 years ago for some reason.

 

The stock will go back up, that I'm sure, but my only criticism is Elon should stay out of earnings calls

With Revenue growth of 18.80 percent YoY, there is not other explanation why it drops so dramatically, other than Elon saying things he shouldn't

 

I would love to know that drugs Elon is on, please give me some. Even if they help me 1% as much as Elon I'll be very happy.

 

I don't know anything about that, I don't care what people do in their personal lives. My only request to him would be to stay out of earnings calls. I don't know if he takes drugs or not, not my business

 

Did you read the article Bit posted? Elon is so drugged out that everyone around him is very concerned and are desperate for him to get into rehab.
You also want Elon to remain silent on X, and in general from what I gather.

 

First, don't put words in my mouth. Lets just leave X out of this. Next, I've read several articles about him being on drugs, and that's just a bunch of noise to me. I don't even pay attention to that. Half of America is on drugs. If not true, Elon should sue the heck out of those board members smearing his reputation.

Now lets talk about Tesla. I'm not an expert, but looking at Tesla's financial performance, why isn't Tesla trading above $300? $400. Crap, why is Meta, that POS company trading above $450? Their revenue is about half TSLA and their Net profit margin is about $3B less than Tesla. I don't get it.

So let me ask you some questions:

With Tesla's overall performance, why aren't they trading above $300?
Why does the stock take such a big hit every time Elon speaks in the earnings calls?
Do you personally believe that Elon is really helping things participating in investor earnings calls?
Is there some vast conspiracy against Tesla to keep it's stock down?

Talk to me like I'm stupid, because I need to understand

 

You said awhile back that Elon acquiring Twitter was the reason the stock has been down and not recovering since. I am assuming (hopefully not incorrectly) you believe that a big part of that is him posting on his platform.
I read several articles since forever how Tesla is [insert prediction of doom] I think at this point we know what the pattern is.
Because in shorter time scales markets are not rational. This is so obvious, stocks go into a buying frenzy based on perception. Company beats consensus stock goes up as if the consensus is some iron clad indicator of a companies health.
Because stock market gamblers like to be spoon fed, hear what they want to hear. Look at the financial health of Tesla over time, look at their products and technology. Or, look at the short term hysteria. I understand your perspective you want the stock to go over $300 and get out I don't fault you for that.

One thing I'm certain of, Tesla needs a very aggressive PR team they are getting absolutely destroyed in the PR game. And by PR against Tesla I mean slander, libel, lies in general.
