End of an era probably the first video I watched discussing Tesla's business was Tesla Daily.
This is fascinating, a roboticist with 4 decades of experience talks about Optimus from the angle of how they are teaching the robot to think and interact like a human. Especially interesting is when he talks about perception, spacial memory and tactile. Great video.
tesla implements huge model Y price cuts in europe and china. is this because they're getting ready to launch the 'highland' version of the Y ('juniper'?) and want to clear out inventory?

That would be my guess as to the main reason. It might not be the sole reason, but I'm guessing it's primary.

they want to be more competitive, price of batteries went down. Highland went down in price too.
YouTubers sell their cars all the time for fresh content. I'm surprised Jgeebs kept his model Y this long. He's owned everything from Porsche to BMW, now just got a Rivian

Mkbhd doesn't make content with his cars. 1 video, 2 at most.
Him selling his plaid isn't a negative though. He has a Rivian and wanted a sports car. Imo a garage with a Porsche sports car and a utility EV (Rivian, cybertruck, lightning) seems almost perfect.

He reviewed his Plaid last year, but regardless I don't see that as a negative as well. He has the perfect setup now as you mentioned
