hrmm, from what he says, what the dealership did IS illegal. you really should mention in the auction that it may be canceled early if the item is sold otherwise, and then you have to follow through with it. i actually was a "professional" ebay seller until recently, so im pretty knowledgably about the rules you need to follow in order to sell something. hopefully ebay will step in and take care of his situation.
