I have no interest in cheap artificial stuff like carbon fiber and aluminum since it is so common and not special, it's not rare or high end enough to serve as a primary trim IMO.
ok so you like your cars lined with dead animal skins.

And NuLuxe seats are much better than I expected them to be. I love the IS 350 F Sport seats. Soft and fit like a glove.

It does, yeah honestly as much as I like nice leather the synthetic stuff is getting really good, and it does wear better. Plus, keeping some animals alive is not a bad thing.

I agree. But Toyota actually went back to adding some leather to models when it didn’t have it before

Yep.....totally agree. And Lexus itself does what IMO is the best fake-leather in the industry....NuLuxe.

Yep because 100k now is mid 50s from 2000, it just costs too much for mainstream stuff. Anything that requires hand involvement or animals has a price bottom that will only go "up" as the currency gets weaker and weaker so I am not surprised at all that real materials are increasingly only on the most expensive of cars.

Absolutely, nothing like it. Same with my belts, shoes, holsters, mag carriers, etc....it's just so much nicer and conforms so well.

Lambs wool is a good option and doesn't require you to kill anything, fur is too fragile IMO.

Very unlikely unless it's on a lower end car, the requirements for high grade leather are very tight and cows are generally not desirable nor are any cattle from areas with bugs that can bite them. Unfortunately due to pressure even Bentley is seeing a loss of quality due to tree hugger type groups, now they are using byproduct grade leather instead of cattle grown solely for it.

Nuluxe may be pretty good, but I just hate how Lexus has the visible zipper for the front seats viewable from the back
