Lexus TX
My guess is that they will not be offering bench seat on the higher trim Hybrid MAX - partly because of battery storage.. I hope the Captains Chair arm rests are not as flimsy as they were on my RX 330 years ago. Can anyone comment on current arm rests?
Not loving the front end...is it possible that the Grand Highlander looks more premium?

Rear quarter and side look great

Oh Lexus, why can't you design a vehicle that just looks good everywhere that isn't the LC?

Yes, V6 is big news
The TX 550h+ (DIRECT4 AWD only) plug-in hybrid vehicle offers a Lexus-first, combining a
powerful 3.5L V6 engine with DIRECT4. Guests will experience a distinctive driving experience
with serene quietness, smooth acceleration, and a manufacturer projected estimated EV range
rating of 33 miles. This is the first Lexus PHEV assembled in North America and this powertrain
will be available at a later date

Definitely not a motor in each wheel.
However, I believe that the CVT transmission in the hybrids has an electric motor component as well (but I'm not 100% on this). But that's why this (550h+) and the RX 350h have CVTs, not traditional transmissions.
F-sport front end has just enough difference for me to like the exterior.
Downside is that the interior is really garbage for the price they are going to be asking for this IMO. Not a fan of that all. 6 speeds and CVT for hybrid and plugin respectively is also pretty lame for a 2024 model year car but whatever.
The 3rd row space and cargo room with seats down is RIDICULOUS though. Looks very roomy.
Does Toyota even have enough batteries to meet demand? Lol.

That's correct. Full breakdown in my article here -- https://www.clublexus.com/articles/2...s-tx-unveiled/
But per Lexus, TX 350 - 8 speed auto, TX 500h - 6-speed auto, TX 550h+ - CVT
