Hope the back seats are better than my S. I sat in the back for the first time recently and the seat back is too straight up for me which makes it uncomfortable. Now I understand why my kids always want to take the X7 on trips longer than an hour.

The backseats are very comfortable, and they are adjustable. I bet yours are as well, if your seats go down then they should be adjustable. I can adjust them back or forward using the latch release button. Also, the front seats are raised in the Y, so you can stretch your legs

Between December 28th and the 30th, I'll be taking another trip in the Y, but this one is a little different. I'll be visiting my aunt who lives in a rural two lane hwy town near Central California that goes east into the mountains, elevation is probably nearly 1000 ft into the foothills, and is near the entrance of Sequoia National Park

What's unique about this trip is, there is only 1 supercharger stop to her house, and that's the Harris Ranch superchargers, which is 90 miles away. There is only one Tesla destination charger location, and it has 16kW chargers, is about a mile away from my aunts house. She also has a 220v outlet, but I will probably just drop it off for a couple of hours. Once I'm fully charged, going back will be easy because it's mostly all downhill, so I'll be +Positive energy usage vs -Negative heading to her house, which is winding mountain roads. Just to give an idea of her area:

Looking forward to making the trip!

Earlier this evening, I got the latest update for my Model Y

There are quite a few updates packed in. I'll talk about the ones that were most noticeable

Parking assist update

Instead of using squiggly lines, the White areas are no go zones and estimate distance between your car and objects. Now also when you reverse, you get the same guidelines that show up in your rearview camera. The lines guide you and turn as you turn your steering wheel

Blind spot Camera alert

You now get red shading in your blind spot camera if an object is present. I know, I know, a warning light on the mirror would have sufficed...Elon didn't think so

Autopilot suspension

And the recall, which addresses the Autosteer feature of Autopilot

We got that last Monday, and have since been upgrade again to 44.30.6. The distance measurements seem a little more accurate, but still not as good as actual parking sensors and a 360 camera system. Baby steps...

Tesla seems to be following the Apple Model...things like NFC, voice commands, maps and even 4G, Android users had these features a few years before Apple. Parking sensors should have never been removed, but at least parking assistant works and is getting better each update

A couple of more things I've noticed. Camera clarity has been substantially increased, and now I can backout of my backyard (which is very tricky btw) without even looking at the backup Camera:

And finally...THANK YOU TESLA

Lines up perfectly!

That's my Christmas gift from Tesla

It's Christmas day, I'm off, yesterday I received two great presents...updated parking assist from Tesla (OTA update), and I got to take out my friends BMW M440i and go full throttle. What could one more ask for? So my wife comes to me and says since I'm off today, why I don't do some projects around the house? She tells me I should "prioritize". I tell her "Yes, you're right honey", and I walk out to the garage, and grab two boxes that have been sitting in the garage for a month, and start my project:

I changed out both Aero covers that were damaged when my son curbed the Y

Now I can pat myself on the back and grab a cup of coffee. Yes, I know, the car needs a wash. Next on my list of priorities

Amirza786 have you tried
ONR rinseless car warsh? ONR rinseless car warsh?
2 capfulls in 2 gallons of water; fill spray bottle, spray and then use a microfiber dunked in bucket. Dry with another microfiber. 2 people can warsh a car in 5-10 minutes. Highly recommended.

Hey thanks! I use Chemical brothers waterless carwash....same concept. You just put it in a spray bottle. I use it between actual car washes

Model Y is now nice and clean:

But I did discover this at the rear battery cover undercarriage this morning:

It wasn't like that yesterday, so I'm thinking a mouse must of gotten in there and pushed its way out. Time to make an appointment with Tesla

Did you go to an automatic wash? That looks like a piece from the rotating brushes. Just yank it out!
