Do we really have to beat a dead horse over and over again? For years at this point. No car is perfect, should we talk about Lexus infotainment over the years? It's been absolute crap and feels so dated so quickly. But people don't bring it up in 80 different threads no matter the original topic because as I said no car is perfect, we understand the flaws and move on. On balance is how you judge a car not single out one thing over and over again. For years.

Also see rule 3.

Quote: what year is your Y? my understanding is in the past year or so they've made the 3/Y more comfortable.

yes, when i charged my rental 3 recently, at 30% it wasn't charging above 135kw, much like your graph.

i watched that earlier... and he says the sienna ride is a lot nicer than the model y.
Ours is a 2022 which has suspension improvements over the earlier Ys (yes, those were even stiffer and more unrefined) but does not have the latest "comfort suspension" which was released more recently (in the last year or so) for 3/Y. And then beyond that, I think Model 3 Highland will see even further suspension and ride improvements beyond the latest comfort suspension. These changes should make their way to Y once it gets its facelift.

When I said "he has a 2020", I meant Gjeebs. Thought I would clear that up

speaking of which in the Y vs Sienna video, gjeebs has some choice words about the craptastic sienna infotainment system.

Now that it's starting to get colder and morning temps are in the mid 50's, I finally got to test out how the Model Y handles fogged windows...and it passes with an A+! It was able to defog the massive front window in less than 2 minutes. The rear window took about 3 minutes to clear enough where I could see in the back. Tesla's heat pump system works extremely fast, but best of all it's very efficient. I kept the cabin at 70 F and only used about 0.4 percent of the available battery

Tesla just released OTA software update 2023.32.6 which makes camera improvements:
  • Improved Autopilot visualizations

The improved camera quality is no joke!! Our jaws dropped the first time we used our "new" side cameras. They dropped a second time when we used them at night. Wow! They are so much better now. Who knew they were holding out for so long in this way?? Lol

Now if we only had a bumper camera why didn't Tesla ever add this?

I'm still at work and haven't seen the camera's yet (updated a couple of hours ago), but I've been reading about this update. This just proves how important software is, probably more so than hardware

I work near an area where Tesla transports go through from the Tesla Fremont factory, and I see truckloads of these daily on my way to work and back home. Hoping to eventually get a glimpse of either Cyber trucks or Semi's
