Thanks guys ! Love my new ride, enjoy the 6MT & the feel of connection to the car.
Compared to the 350Z, which is a more hard edged sports car,the G35 is more luxuriously appointed, & the ride not as harsh, while maintaining great grip & flat cornering, & many feel more stable and balanced with the corners than the 350Z due to its longer wheel base. They are built on the same FM platform, with the same 3.5 litre V6, although the Z has 287 hp vs. 280 for the G35 coupe. With the same transmission the Z is a small fraction of a sec. quicker. To me choosing the G35 over the Z is a no brainer in terms of value & practicality.
Ride comfort is actually quite comparable with the SC430 for me,& in the city I live, the roads are generally quite good anyway. Over railway tracks, it's not as jarring as the SC with the runflats. On the highway, it's a controlled , civil cruiser, with a quiet and comfortable cabin. It gives a pleasing growl under acceleration, but actually becomes muted at cruising speed. Obviously I'm still well within the break-in period & has been relatively gentle with it, maybe I can tell you more later.

I do like the iforged seneka itself but have yet to see a picture with them on the G35 coupe that depicts them really well (Yes, the BBS LM would look better on the G35 coupe, too bad). Now I also think those particular mesh wheels may look too busy on the G35 coupe, especially with my white one. I'm considering also the 12 spoke iforged rev now. If I am to get an extra set of wheels, I'm looking for one that will give it a significantly different look from the stock 7 spoke 18" wheels, and I don't like any wheels with less than 6 spokes on a G35coupe. Any suggestions welcome. Pricewise, wheels the price level of iforged is as high as I would go for a car like a G35.

great cars!
my Mother in Law just traded up from a 90 300ZX TT to the new G35 Coupe, and she loves it! It was ordered from the factory with a RMM Cold air intake and 3" SS Exhaust, so it sounds awesome! She has the DVD nav. polished wheels, Brembo brakes, it is a beautiful car.
Congrats!

Thanks again guys. Despite the news of the engine recall, I'm still exited over this car & has been driving it the past few days & everything seems perfect. Mine's a September production vehicle so I don't know if I'll receive a letter, but I've heard it's just a simple fix.
