Anybody in the GTA own a '06-'08 IS 250 w/o navigation who wants to make an easy $100
Hey all!
Best way to explain this: I own a Lexus IS 250 from this generation. A few years back I did an iPad installation on it which actually works fairly well. The problem is when I did the install, my amplifier needed to be adjusted (using a factory system, just to adjust volume). I used a friend's vehicle and we solved it.
Unfortunately, there was a moon roof drain issue in my vehicle and due to a clog, water drained all over my factory amplifier. I was able to source a new amplifier (which works perfectly) but unfortunately it needs to be adjusted. The friend of mine with their vehicle moved out of the province- otherwise I'd be asking them again lol.
So what's involved is basically unplugging your amp, plugging mine in, adjusting the volume. Unplugging it and replacing your amp back to the way it was.
Due to harness issues I cannot do it with my current setup (otherwise I would haha). I even have another "factory" deck I could do it with, but finding the OEM harnesses are next to impossible for under $2k (you read this correctly) and most scrapyards are having issues sourcing the cable for me.
Believe me, I've exhausted my avenues. If you can help me out (I'm located in Mississauga). It'd be fantastic and you can make an easy $100 lol.
Thanks!
