Alternative to Sewell for Canadian buyers is...
... your local dealer, believe it or not. (In this case, Lexus Laval)
So I did some inquiring today about a few parts, mainly F Sport shocks and F Sport springs, but I was told that some other parts are equivalent and in some cases cheaper.
I asked about the F Sport springs for a 06-13 model.
Price I got quoted at is: $315 CDN + tax = $362.25 CDN
Sewell's price:
$222 USD + shipping + custom fees.
$222 USD = $274.99 CDN (today's rate)
Now $274.99 CDN + shipping to Canada (let's say they did) + custom fees will surpass the $362.25 CDN very easily believe it or not.
As for the shocks, they are discontinued and this dealer decided to mark them up for some reason... so long story short, it will run you $1,265 CDN tax in
Sewell is priced at $769.97 CDN + shipping + custom fees (which should be less than the $1,265 CDN but not by much.)
So before buying something online, check your local dealer first, you might be better off buying it locally. I've also heard that some dealers are price matching Sewell to gain the business, because don't forget, Sewell's prices to ClubLexus members is employee pricing for any Lexus employee.
I hope this helps people!
