Exclamation Tranny and Engine bolts sheered off and ICBC still now wanting to write off

My gs 430 was involved in an accident. It has 7200 in body damage. ICBC does not want to write if off. They said its at 9200 for write off..
The engine light is on and codes are being thrown so I had it looked by a mechanic and they said they dont now how it was missed but tranny and engine bolts were sheered off it was hit so hard they said. As for the codes they dont know what it is as they cant drive the car so it would have to be fixed and set off and driven to find out. One mechanic came out and said it could be the catylic convertor that is setting it off and this one said it looks like the convertor is working but no for sure thing on either end.
I am in dispute with ICBC as they are just not wanting to write if off .I dont know why. But now that this new damage is found would this not be a concern? They are getting the estimate for the bolt repair but this means the engine and tranny could easily have issues now.
