the only way i eat alaskan king crab is chinese style - split into 2 servings, one in garlic sauce, and the other in roasted salt/pepper. yum! pricey tho...you are looking at anywhere from $12 - $14 per pound in season, avg. weight is around 8 lbs (maybe more?). $18-$19 for out of season.

Kirin's is good... as long as you don't go into the undercover parking lot of the one in Richmond Centre.... most of us... can't.

i tried king crab at northern dynasty on alexandra road 1-2 yrs ago...first time was fantastic, 2nd time was just average.
actually u know what, king crab is still prob best at Sun Sui Wah (better than Kirin)
since they are the first to bring it into vancouver and i heard the way they cook it is still better than others...
